Mary Ruth Clay, 85, of
Poteau, OK passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 in Poteau. Mary was born October 31, 1932 in Williams,
OK to Wiley H. & Ida Ella (Victor) Butler.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents & husband, Cloyis; brother
in law, Troy Riddle & niece, Debbie Riddle Mudd. nephew, Billy Wade Butler
of Vancouver, WA;
brothers & sisters, Mildred Covey of
Baytown, TX, Muriel Gould of Dearford, MI, Arthur Butler of Pontiac, MI, Fred
Butler of Lancing, MI, Jimmy Wade Butler of Poteau, OK, Billy Butler of
Williams, OK
Survivors
include her daughter & son in law, Lisa & Mike Mixon of Poteau;
grandson, Devin Wade Griffith, PhD of
Houston, TX; sister in law, Nancy Butler; other relatives, loved ones and
friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Saturday, October 27, 2018 at
Southside Baptist Church, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Reed & Rev. Jim Cook
officiating. Interment will follow in
Oakland Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers
will be Keith Henson, Carol Hale, Todd Peters, Jim Fesperman, Jeff Smith, Jim
Seale, Olan Arnall. Honorary pallbearers
will be Devin Griffith, Mike Mixon, Jim Mixon and Mark Mixon.

I am so sorry for your loss, but the first thought I had was your dads reunion. They were such a great couple and they loved each other and you very much. There eyes sparkled when they talked about you and more so about your son. You are in my prayers.
