Faye Grizzle


           Lottie Faye Grizzle, 94, of  Pocola, OK  passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 in Fort Smith, AR.  She  was born February 29, 1924 in Spiro, OK to Malvern and Ada (Morris) King. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Vic Grizzle, Daughter and Son- in-law Georgia and Phillip Rogers, five brothers and one sister. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
          Lottie is survived by her two daughters Barbara and Thomas Humphreville of Rogers, AR; Kathy and Eddie Coleman of Pocola; two sons Johnnie and Donna Grizzle of Pocola, Rick and Sherrie Grizzle of Ft. Smith; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; sisters Reba Mize of Pocola, and Velma Flynn of Owasso, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
        Visitation will be at the funeral  home on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 6-8pm.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Evans Memorial Chapel Pocola, OK with  Jody Grizzle and Bradley Grizzle officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery Pocola, OK.

I will miss Aunt Faye. Her gracious hospitality, her creativity and artistry were unmatched. Truly a treasure.

Please accept my condolences. It would be hard to grow up in Pocola without knowing the Grizzles. Death is such an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26) I hope your family can find comfort from the Bible promise of a resurrection which will reunite us with our loved ones. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Soon death will be a thing of the past, how we long for that day!(Revelation 21:3,4)
