Jean Shadwick, 84, of
Wister, OK passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 in Ft. Smith, AR. Jean was born July 20, 1932 in Heavener, OK
to Benjamin & Dora Irene (Lowe) Brand.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, L.D.
"Hotshot" Shadwick.
Jean is survived by her
children, Danny & Dianna Shadwick of Poteau, Donny & Glenda Shadwick,
Leslie Wooten of Wister; Lori & William Pahlon of Red Oak, OK; 10
grandchildren, Chad Meeks of Monroe, Brad Meeks of TN, Boddy Meeks, Shane, Shawn & Ronnie Wooten, Julie
Gibson of Wister, Scott Shadwick of Panama, OK, Cody Shadwick of McAlester,
& Brian Shadwick of Wister; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great
grandchild; special friends, Christy Hoffman of Poteau and Gary Morris; other
relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Wister Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Jerry Townley
& Cheyenne Booth officiating.
Interment will follow in Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wister. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
