Denver Dickson, 79, of
Wister, OK passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 in Ft. Smith, AR. Denver was born October 15, 1937 in Wister to
Olive Edith & Gertie Edna (Green) Dickson.
He was a veteran of the US Air Force.
Denver was a KATS bus driver. He
was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, J.L. & Charley Wayne
Dickson.
Survivors include his wife,
Debra Ann (Owens) Dickson of the home; his children, Arley & Jennifer
Campbell of Lamar, AR, Jimmy Dickson & Andrea Spaulding of Huntington
Beach, CA, Brittany Ann & Holder Lunsford of Wister, OK; grandchildren,
Dalton Bo Campbell, Allie Campbell, Caleb Campbell and Adelina Dickson;
siblings, Cecil Dickson of Wister, OK, Ernest Dickson of Oakland, OR, Melvin
Dickson of Covington, OK, Lorene Naylor of Hontubby, OK, Betty Lang of Oakland,
OR; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 3 pm,
Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Church of God Seventh Day in Wister, OK with Don
Martin officiating. Interment will
follow in Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wister.
Pallbearers will be Jason Smith, Jeff Smith, Little Denver Dickson,
Bobby Dickson, Terry Davis, Jesse Davis, Arley Campbell.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.

Everyone loves Denver and Denver loved everyone. My children and every child I have ever known has always thought he was special and he has always been special! Rest in Peace and give the family our love from us to them! In God's Name I Pray. Amen.
