Shawn Michael McConnell,
37, a resident of the Huckabee House in Desert Hot Springs, CA passed away
Monday, September 28, 2015. Shawn was
born December 15, 1977 in Poteau, OK. He
was preceded in death by his sister, Terra McConnell; grandparents, Orville
McConnell, Kenneth Hamm & Louis Touchstone.
Survivors include his
father, Terry McConnell and wife, Kathy of Poteau, OK; mother, Debbie Burks and
husband Roger of Ft. Myers, FL;
brothers, Nathan McConnell of Poteau, OK, Blake Crowe of North Pole, Alaska;
sisters, Cheyenne McConnell and Sunnie McConnell of Poteau, OK; nephews, Elijah
McConnell and Bronx Glover of Poteau, OK; grandmothers, Minnie Hamm of Poteau,
OK and Delores Touchstone of Fort Myers, FL and other relatives, loved ones and
friends.
Services will be at 10 am,
Monday, October 5, 2015 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Pastor Les
Scroggins officiating. Interment will
follow at Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wister, OK.
Pallbearers will be Nathan McConnell, Blake Crowe, Jerry McConnell, Rick
McConnell, Rocky McConnell and Rickey McConnell.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
