Dorothy V. Tobey, 93, of
Poteau, OK passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in Tucson, AZ. Dorothy was born May 14, 1922 in Poteau, OK
to Milton & Lydia (Flannary) Jenson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Guthrie A. Tobey; her
sisters, Rose Mixon, Irene Tomas, Elanor Nickles & Freada Lester; brothers,
Rev. Charles Jenson & Jim Jenson.
She is survived by her son,
Gary Tobey; daughter, Nancy Shipman; sister, Betty Sommers; 4 grandsons, 7
great grandsons; Tucson care givers, Rosie McCurtin, Autumn Loomis & Betsy
Kingsley; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 10 am,
Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev.
Michael Franklin and Rev. Steve Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery,
Poteau.
