Emma
Lee Skinner, 69, of Poteau, OK
passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 in Pocola,
OK. Emma was born September 15, 1945 in Fort
Smith, AR to Orville
& Wilma (McConnell) McCroskey. She worked
many years as a convenience store manager.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother &
sister. Emma was preceded in death by
her parents; brothers, Bobby, Dinger & Eddie McCroskey; sister, Ann Marie
McCroskey; sister in law, Leta McCroskey.
Survivors
include A.V. Skinner Jr. of the home; 3 daughters & sons in law, Tammy
& Mike Ingle of Douglass, KS, Kristina Skinner of Poteau, OK, Candace &
Broc Randall of Tulsa, OK; 5 grandchildren, Amanda, Alli, Matthew, Ben, Cate; 4
great grandchildren, Noah, Kaden, Eli, Beau; brothers, Charlie McCroskey of
Poteau, OK, Freddy & Mary McCroskey of Oklahoma City; brother in law, Brad
Skinner of Ft. Smith, AR; Sisters in law, Ann McCroskey & Marie McCroskey
of Poteau, OK, Phyllis McCroskey of Shady Point, OK; numerous nieces, nephews,
cousins, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services
will be 2 pm, Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Jim Cook & Rev. Leroy Billy officiating. Interment will follow in Monroe Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charlie & Freddy
McCroskey, Mike Ingle, Broc Randall, John Meeh, Alan Hensley and Mack Schmidt.
The
family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5-7 pm.
In
lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc.
