Omer Lee Adams, 83, of
Caddo, OK (formerly of Poteau) passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 in
Caddo. Omer Lee was born October 30,
1930 in Wister, OK
to Truman & Vangie (Hawkins) Adams. He was
a mechanic. Omer Lee was a veteran of
the US Army. He was preceded in death by
his parents; wife, Dema; daughter, Becky; brothers, Howard & Denver;
sister, Laverne Moran.
Survivors include his
daughter, Cassie Stafford of Caddo, OK; grandson, Kody Blaylock of San Diego,
CA; sisters, Lucille Mote of Wilburton, OK & Lorene Upchurch of Edmond, OK;
other relatives, loved ones & friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Monday, April 21, 2014 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Jim Cook & Rev. John Kinsey officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery,
Poteau, OK. Pallbearers will be Paul Spangler, Larry
Adams, Marty Cooper, Kermit Bennett, Jim Craig, Jim Waddle.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.

Uncle Omer always Spoke to me with a smile when I visited Grandma's in Wister in the late 1950's. I believe he was a faithful Husband, father and grandfather. Randy Upchurch, Edmond OK
My condolences. Omer Lee was a regular morning visitor at the Poteau post office and a friendlier person you wouldn't find. May he rest in peace. Judy/Poteau.
I did not know Omer Lee had passed, so sorry. We went to school together for several years and worked together at Bob Smedley Chevrolet for awhile. He was always joyful and loved everyone. He will always be remembered as a kind hard working man.
