Barbara was HR director at Montgomery Wards, She was the manager at Lane Bryant and the Colony Shop. She was a great wife and mother. Barbara was influential in building and maintaining Cavanaugh FWB Church, Community FWB Church, Cornerstone FWB Church, Pine Hill FWB Church in Star City AR and Hillsdale FWB Bible College in Moore Ok. Early in her life Barbra was a hairdresser. One of the greatest things that could be said of Barbara  was that she loved the Lord and sought to do His will in all that she did.  The church was her passion and she worked at it as a labor of love and influenced so many people for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be missed by all those that knew and loved her but our loss is Heavens gain as a weary child has gone home.  Special thanks to Paula Kimble who helped so much in the care of mom in the last few months and to Carol Glenn and Sharon Cheshier who took mom to see "God's not dead" which she loved so much.  Mom loved Dad so much and any that knew them, know how much he will miss her as she was his life partner and did everything she could to help and affect his ministry, in a way that would be pleasing to him and our Lord!
Services will be 10 am Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Cavanaugh Free Will Baptist Church, Ft. Smith, AR with Rev. Paul Thompson & Rev. Bob Thompson officiating.  Interment will follow at 2:30 pm in Prague Cemetery, Prague, OK.  The family will be at the funeral home in Pocola on Friday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

May God wrap His loving arms around you Bro Carl and family.
Barb was a very special person in my teenage years. She was always there to listen and guide me through the Word. Her love for the Lord was very profound. I will always remember the good times we had with her in our Sunday School Class and our very special trip to Pensacola, Fl that Spring Break.
Love to you Bro Carl. You were both very special to our family.
Love in Christ,
