Pat Tackett



 Pat Tackett, 78, of  Bokoshe, OK passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Pat was born September 12, 1934 in Poteau, OK to John W. & Elsie R. (Deathrow) Kilgore.  She was a school teacher for 39 years.   Pat was a member of Alpha Beta Kappa and the Eastern Star.  She was Business Woman of the Year & Who’s Who of America, Past LeFlore County OEA President.  Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford Tackett; sons, Randy & Steven; sisters, Joann Kilgore, Arlene Wynn, Lillie Mae Baker, & Baby Kilgore; brothers, Kenneth, Aubrey, Gene, James “Steve” & Jerry Kilgore.

Survivors include her daughters & sons in law, Vickey & Joseph Damato of Spiro, OK, Lea Ann Lowry of Bokoshe, OK, Sharon & Jim Steen of Ocala, FL; son & daughter in law, Paul Tackett & Lisa Woodral of Bokoshe, OK;  grandchildren, Daniel & Rhonda Damato of Spiro, OK, Chris Tackett of Bokoshe, OK, Jason & Jody Tackett of Heavener, OK, Jake Tackett of Bokoshe, OK, Brandie Fenelon  of Barling, AR, Chris Fenelon of Ft. Smith, AR, Lacey & Jesse Mattox of Howe, OK, Will & Lacey Mills of Heavener, OK, Chad Cooper & Brook of Spiro, OK, Shawn & Dara Hogan of Spiro, OK and children, Lilly, Kalie, Cash, Shawn Jr. & Kalie; 4 great grandchildren, Gina Damato, Nicola Damato, Rumor Tackett, & Langston Tackett, Gracie Mattox, Brinley Mills; aunt, Verlon Stockton of Sapulpa, OK;  sisters, Virginia Harrison of Panama, OK,  Linda & Gary Vest of Cameron, OK; brothers, John & Margaret Kilgore of Blythe, CA, Leland & Brenda Kilgore of Sulphur Springs, OK, Ted & Jane Kilgore of Poteau, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins,  many beloved friends.
     Services will be 10 am Friday, March 1, 2013 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook, Rev. Leroy Orr, & Rev. Brian Smith.  Interment will be in Old Bokoshe Cemetery, Bokoshe, OK.  Pallbearers will be Will Thompson, Fred Wegert, Jordan Rogers, Chad Cooper, Nick Zimmerman, Randall Foster, Charles Burton & Gerald McRay.  Honorary pallbearers will be Lonnie McRay, Steve Tackett, Tony Smith, and Larry Martin.

The family will be at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
