Dear Friends,
The picture of Sonny makes us smile; he looks just a tiny bit ornery like he is going to crack a joke or pull a prank. It has been such an honor to know, admire, and love Sonny through the years. What a wonderful gift we were given the day back in 1984 when Tom rode by your camp in the Weminuche and you all invited him to step down and have some coffee and grub. We have many wonderful memories of hunting camps and other fine times, with all of the love and laughter that flowed. Sonny was a master story teller and sometimes he would get so tickled he could hardly continue; of course we were all rolling with laughter also. We will not be able to be with you all physically as you say farewell to Sonny, but please know that we are there with our hearts and thoughts. We love you all. Our lives have been enriched by our life encounter with Sonny.

It was always nice to see Sonny and Erma, which most time was at Wal-mart. He will be missed. May the family feel GOD's presence during this time and know that they are in our thoughts and prayers.

It's been many years since I've seen Sonny Reed but am still heartbroken that he's gone. Rest in peace dear Sonny and know that you will always be remembered with a smile from someone who loved you and was proud to know you. In the bible it says "in my Father's house are many mansions" but I'm sure there is a mountain and hunting camp or two there for you as well. I look forward to seeing you and Donnie there one of these days.
