Katherine E. Hayes, 76, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, January 9, 2009 in Poteau. Katherine was born February 28, 1932 in Madison, Wisconsin to Fredrick J. & Myrtle (Austin) Schroeder. She was a homemaker. Her parents; brother, Chester; and son, Fred preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Doris A. (Hayes) Sitton; son, Cecil G. Hayes; 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter; 7 great grandchildren; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services held 2 pm, Monday, January 12, 2009 at Monroe Cemetery Pavilion, Monroe, OK. Interment following. Rev. Jim Cook officiating.
