ELVA N. SLOAN

Elva N. Sloan, 91, of Poteau, OK passed away, Thursday, August 28, 2008 in Ft. Smith, AR. He was born April2 2, 1917 in Calhoun, OK. Elva was a nurse. Survivors include 3 sisters, Betty Lou Markobitz of Anaheim, CA, Helen Lewis and Ellen Milam, both of Poteau; 2 brothers, James Ronald Lewis of Oklahoma & George Herman Lewis of Las Vegas, NV; daughter in law, Marsha Sloan of Tulsa, OK; 2 grandsons, Kenneth Grant Sloan & Kevin Lynn Sloan. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2008 in Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with the Rev. Phil McGehee officiating. Interment will be in Milton Cemetery, Milton, OK.
