Beatrice B. Anderson Beatrice B. Anderson. 82, of Spiro, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, September 19, 2008 at Pocola Nursing Home in Pocola, OK. Beatrice was born on March 30, 1926 in Buck Creek, Oklahoma to Farley Logan & Myrtle (Wiles) York. Bea was a lifelong resident of the area and a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene in Panama, OK and a homemaker. Her husband Hugh “Pete” Anderson; 3 sisters; a brother; and her parents precede her in death. Beatrice is survived by a daughter Patricia Nelson of Spiro, OK; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & loved ones and many beloved friends and church family. Graveside services for Beatrice were held at 2:00 pm Monday, September 22, 2008 at Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point, OK with interment following the services. Arrangements were under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, OK.
