Shirley McDonald

Memorial Service for Shirley McDonald, 74 of Poteau, Oklahoma will be at 2pm on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at First Free Will Baptist Church in Poteau, Oklahoma with Jim Cook officiating. Services under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home.

Shirley was born on July 3, 1947 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma to Helen (Huchison) Tushka and Herman Tushka and passed away on June 27, 2022 in Poteau, Oklahoma.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson Derek. Shirley loved to play volleyball, and go fishing. She enjoyed watching Oklahoma Thunder basketball. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, watching OU football and softball.

Survivors include: daughter, Anita and husband Evert Cunningham; son, Mike and Kimmy McDonald; sisters, Gloria Bachman, Janet Gustafson and husband Bob; brothers, Ronnie Tushka, and Byron Tushka; grandchildren, Krystal, Heather, Jonathan, Timothy, Joshua; great grandchildren, Derek, Skylar, Hunter, Autumn, Hadleigh, Rebel, Paisley, Leah, Brayden and Lena.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
