Etta Faye Weaver

Graveside Service for Etta Faye Weaver, 81 of Weatherford, Oklahoma formerly of Panama, Oklahoma will be at 2pm on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Old Bokoshe Cemetery in Bokoshe, Oklahoma with Jim Cook officiating. Services are under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home in Poteau, Oklahoma.

Etta was born on August 5, 1940 in Granite, Oklahoma to Etta M. Fletcher (McFarland) and Willie E. Fletcher and passed away on June 12, 2022 in Weatherford, Oklahoma.  Etta married George W. Weaver on January 5, 1957 in Sayer, Oklahoma. She became a mother to Susan Crowder on February 20, 1958; retired from Oaks Health Care after 24 years; was a member of New Mt. Pleasant Valley Church in Heavener, Oklahoma where she was in charge of the church kitchen pantry. She liked to spend her time camping, only in the summer, fishing, cooking, baking all kinds of sweet deserts, sweets were her favorite. She loved spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, and family. She never missed The Price Is Right nor The Young and The Restless therefore appointments and outings had to be after her television shows. She had a good and funny side to her. Etta and her twin brother were always up to something when they were growing up and took up for each other, they always knew when the other was ill without getting notification from others. The love they shared for each other was beautiful.

Survivors include: her daughter, Susan Crowder and husband Randy; sisters, Marie Cline, and Betty Banks; grandchildren,  Michael Bradshaw and wife Rhonda, Diana Holdman and husband Gregg, Christina Avery, Bobbi  Jo Perez and husband Carmilino; great grandchildren, Stefanie Ivy and husband Jason, Tori Williams and husband Cole, Christyl Morgan, Marcos Perez,  and Christian Perez; great great grandchildren, Stormie Ivy, Nathan Williams, Kennedi Williams, Braeylynn Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George W. Weaver, great grandson, Douglas Byrd; five brothers and two sisters.

Pallbearers will be Michael Bradshaw, Conner Thompson, Ron Cline, Anthony Fletcher, Mark Fletcher, and Thomas Brown.

The family has chosen to entrust the care of the services to Evans & Miller Funeral Home, Poteau, Oklahoma.
