Gage Brown

Funeral Service for Gage Brown, of Wister, Oklahoma will be at 2pm on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Wister High School Gym in Wister, Oklahoma with Sam Walden officiating. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Wister, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.

Gage was born on January 31, 2004 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Jessica Brown and J.R. Brown, and passed away on  June 3, 2022 in Wister, Oklahoma.  He liked to fish, hunt, and hangout with his friends. He enjoyed driving around with his friends, if his friends had the gas money. Eating off the dollar menu was just how he rolled. Listening to music with his friends at the lake and listening to music with his dad were some of his favorite things to do. Gage loved his family so much! He cherished his time working with Mr. Walden. Gage liked to tell  "how big" the fish were he caught, but  of course no one ever  saw them. LOL

Survivors include his parents, J.R. and Jessica Brown; sister, Haven Brown; brothers, Tylor Word, Country Word; grandparents, Meme, Ellen Jackson, Janie and Eddie Brown, Kathy and Jerry Warren, Karen and Parnell Kelley; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other loved ones.

Pallbearers will be all of his Wister friends.

The family has chosen to entrust the care of the services to Evans & Miller Funeral Home, Poteau, Oklahoma.
