Johnny Everett Potter, 63, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 in Tulsa, OK. Johnny was born October 16, 1958 in Poteau, OK to James Edward & Laura Ruby (Arter) Potter. He worked for Blake Construction; a lifetime member of the NRA; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on the farm. Johnny was preceded in death by his father, James Potter; grandson, Steven Tyler Billy; sister, Beverly Potter; brothers Ronnie & Harold Potter; niece, Haley Potter.
Survivors include his loving companion of 28 years, Imogene Odell; daughters, Laura Potter, Stella Tate & Ron, Starlet Dye & Jimmy, Regina Brock & Joe, Krista Rogers & Tommy; son, Christopher Potter; mother, Ruby Potter; brothers, Darrel, Kenny, Jimmy, Randy, and Donnie Potter; sisters; Linda Martin, Ruby Joyce Yarnell, Lovenia Hiesler and Barbie Potter; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2pm, Monday, October 25, 2021 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau with Jim Cook officiating. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and his lifelong friend, Gary Cappell.
Visitation will be 4-6 pm on Sunday.
