Francis Wayne Nixon, 72, of Poteau, OK passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 after long-term effects of Agent Orange. He was born September 4, 1949 in Poteau to Walter Francis & Rosia Mae (Jones) Nixon. Francis worked in communications/Alltel. He was a Vietnam War serving in the US Army. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club in Raleigh, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Eddie Morrison & Don Morrison.
Survivors include his children, Loretta Jones and Lindsy Jones; grandson, Layton Smith; numerous lifelong friends; other relatives & loved ones.
Memorial services will be held 2 pm, Friday, October 8, 2021 at Faith Community Church (Nazarene) Poteau, OK with Michael Davidson officiating.

I remember Francis as always being happy. He enjoyed the Glee club and was a really good roller skater.
He was kind to me when other were not. So sorry for his family.
