Franklin C. Bryant

Franklin C. Bryant, 87, of Kinta, passed away at his home Thursday, September 30, 2021. He was born June 22, 1934 in Kinta, Oklahoma to Thomas Jack & Margie Caldonia (Cummings) Bryant.
Franklin met Aleta Moore and they were married May 17, 1979 in Dunkin, Oklahoma. Franklin worked most of his life in construction as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He worked for Haskell County many years as well as helped build Sardis Lake. He also operated his sawmill for many years. He believed in hard work and did it every day.
Franklin is survived by his wife of 42 years, Aleta Bryant of the home; a daughter, Diann Henson of Poteau; 2 stepchildren, Ronda Morgan of Kinta, Rusty & Julie Morgan of Bowie, Texas; grandchildren, Megan Morrow, Nick Henson, Brent Henson, Tori & Joseph Smith, Ashley Stewart, Seth Bryant; step-grandchildren, Randa Hamman, Paige Morgan, Destry & Kelsey Morgan, Karsen Morgan, Hadley Morgan, Graycn Morgan; great grandchildren, Keaton, Kerstin, Kilee, Gunnur, Brittany, Mia, Kenzleigh, Renner, Brandon, Gauge, Grace;   step-grandchildren, Ariana, Hank, Hensley, Rylee, Riana; great great granddaughter, Kathryn;  daughter-in-law, Dawn Bryant; numerous nieces & nephews.
Franklin is preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Margie Bryant; a son, Eldwin Bryant; a sister, Colleen Carpenter; a brother, Jerry Bryant.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 4, 2021 at Lequire Baptist Church with Reverend Carl Reeves officiating. Eulogist: Reverend Tim Perkins. Pallbearers include NicK Henson, Brent Henson, Rusty Morgan, Todd Palmer, James Allen, Ray Daugherty; Honorary Pallbearers include Bill Anderson & Lequire Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in Sans Bois Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
