Funeral Service for Billie Wayne Carpenter, 76 of Cameron, Oklahoma will be at 2:00PM on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Pocola, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home in Pocola.
He was born on February 4, 1945 in Cameron, Oklahoma to Flora (Potter) Carpenter and Henrey H. Carpenter and passed away on March 3, 2021 in Cameron, Oklahoma. He was married to Donna Kay Carpenter on June 24, 1968 in Poteau, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Auraha Pipkins; brother, Caroll Carpenter; sisters, Doris Ferguson, Omama Mae Crandell and Ola Dean Davis. Billie loved fishing, hunting and working. He loved working and tending to his land but his first love was his wife, Donna Kay. His family meant the world to Billie. He was very proud to be a Veteran of the United States Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Donna Kay Carpenter; daughters, Sundee Kay Entmeier and husband Rick, Raychelle Ibison; sister, Dorean Bethel; brother, Theo Carpenter; grandchildren, Addisen Entmeier, Mark Ibison, Jr., Garrett Entmeier, Briar Ibison, Hunter Perkins; great grandchildren, Anikin Entmeier, Vyker Entmeier; son-in-law, Michael Pipkins, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and love ones.
Active Pallbearers will be Mark Ibison, Sr., Mark Ibison, Jr., Briar Ibison, Addison Entmeier, Hunter Perkins, Garrett Entmeier, and Rick Entmeier. Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Carpenter and Michael Carpenter.
Viewing will be Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Evans and Miller Funeral Home in Pocola.
Everyone is invited to attend a pot luck dinner following the graveside service at The Barn with Southern Charm, 25009 Old Highway 112, Cameron, Oklahoma.
