Lisa Bryan


Lisa Ann Knapp Bryan was born on December 15, 1966 in Oklahoma City, OK to Jesse and Agnes Knapp of Poteau, OK. She went to her Heavenly home on February 4, 2021 in Howe, OK.  Lisa went to school at Shady Point until 8th grade and she graduated High School at Poteau. Lisa worked at the United States Postal Service for 19 ½ years where she could take care of her daughter and make sure she went to college. She married Chris Bryan on June 26, 2015 in Arnett, OK and became the mother to 7 children, whom she loved dearly.  Lisa was an advertising representative for the Heavener Ledger which gave her the ability to be outdoors, which she loved. She enjoyed taking care of her chickens and her English Bulldogs. When she wasn’t working she enjoyed riding her motorcycle, traveling and photography.  Lisa loved taking care of her family, they meant everything to her.  Lisa was preceded in death by her daughter Riley Bryan and granddaughter Paisley Bryan.

          She is survived by her husband Chris Bryan of Howe, OK; Daughters Jessica Bell of Poteau, OK, Savanna and Hadley Bryan of Howe, OK and Amre Bryan of Ward, AR; Sons Wilfred Bryan of USAF Little Rock, AR, Dalton Bryan of Arnett, OK and Walker Bryan of Howe, OK;  Her parents Jesse and Agnes Knapp of Poteau, OK; Brother Jesse Knapp Jr. and wife Darlene of Ozark, MO; Grandchildren Jeslyn and Jesse Bell of Poteau, OK, Lillian Bryan and Madison Foresman of Ward, AR and Aspen Bryan of Arnett, OK;  Her English Bulldogs Bella and Baby and some very loved and appreciated friends.

          Lisa was a loving wife, daughter, mom and memaw. She will be greatly missed by all those that loved and knew her.

          Services will be held on Saturday February 13, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Green Country Cowboy Church followed by graveside service at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be given to GC3 Youth Revive, Porkchops Love Foundation or Poteau Youth Wrestling Academy.
