Geraldine Lavern Dolph, 97, of Pocola, OK passed away
Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in Ft. Smith, AR.
Geraldine was born January 20, 1924 in Howe, OK to Bill & Ilar
(Blaylock) Faulkenberry. Geraldine spent
many hours crocheting, piecing and quilting quilts, camping and fishing with
friends and spending time with her family.
She attended Poteau Valley Independence Baptist Church for many years
until her health started declining.
Geraldine lived her last years at Pocola Nursing and Rehab Center where
she was loved by so many. She was
preceded in death by her husband, William Dolph; 5 brothers, Dewey, James,
Donald, Jerry and Curtis; one sister, Dorothy and grandson, Roy.
Survivors
include three daughters, Bobbie and husband Jim Janway of Ft. Smith, AR, Jackie Janway of Oklahoma City
and Linda Green of Terrell, TX; two brothers, William “Chubby” Faulkenberry and
Bob “Red” Faulkenberry of Lindsay, OK; grandchildren, Kenny, Kim, Tracy,
Teresa, Gordon, Greg and Guy; 15 great grandchildren; 21 great great
grandchildren; 1 great great great grandchild.
Services
will be 10 am, Monday, February 15, 2021 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau,
OK with Billy Watkins officiating.
