Betty Lou Hogsett Patchin Willard, of LeFlore, OK passed away January 19, 2021 in Heavener, OK. Betty was born May 2, 1938 in Pampa, TX to Frank & Fern Helen (Jacobs) Hogsett. She was a teacher. Oh, she could sing!! She loved the community and loved helping people. She will be missed by family and students whom she taught in both LeFlore and Howe. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald C. Patchin & John W. Willard; five siblings and her parents.
Survivors include her sons, Don Patchin; Bob & Kim Patchin; daughters & son in law, Carla & Lowell Garrett, Marlene Willard Ward; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, JoAnn Hogsett Hunt Graham; many nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 am, Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Summerfield Baptist Church.

Mrs. Willard taught me algebra at Howe High School. She was an excellent teacher. I'm sorry to hear of her passing.
