Steve Worley, 96, of
Eagletown, OK passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at his home. Steve was born August 30, 1923 in Poteau, OK
to Marvin & Zelma (Doshier) Worley.
Steve was a very brilliant, educated man. He owned and operated Worley Chemical
Engineering Co. all over the world; he served in the US Army during WWII. Steve was a dedicated husband, dad and
grandad. He was preceded in death by
his parents; wife, Peggy; brother, Rob Worley; and stepdaughter, Ann Lawler.
Survivors include his wife, Gloe “Dob” Worley of the home;

Oklahoma City, OK, Kim Drake of Caney, OK, Ginger & Glen Savoie of Houston,
TX; stepdaughters & spouses, Donna & Bob Fikes of Texas, Jan & Jim
Cook of Poteau, OK, Brenda & Kelsey Keeney of Nashville, AR, Pam Bradshaw
of Poteau, OK, Vicki & Mike Gamble of Idabel, OK; step son, Rick Worley of Idabel, OK; brothers & spouses, Bob &
Mary Worley of Ft. Smith, AR, Jerry & Carolyn Worley of TX; sister &
spouse, Janice & Martin Soudbach of Colorado Springs, CO; 6 grandchildren;
16 step grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; other relatives, loved ones
and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Thursday February 27, 2020 at
Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery,
Poteau. The family will be at the
funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
