My memories of Ed are of dedication to family, an amazing knowledge of scouting, and a sweet, friendly nature. I enjoyed being around him, especially when we could talk about trains!
Being a cousin-by-marriage to Diane, my 2nd cousin-once-removed (or something like that), we had more than a few visits with relatives on our side of the family. Kids running around, adults gathered on the patio, the usual, ordinary family occasions that we think will last forever.
Ed is with the ones who have gone on ahead, and I can't help but see him with a Big Smile like he had so often on his face.
Lovingly from Judy and Paul White
Ed was a great man, and played a pivotal role in my childhood. Were it not for Ed and his leadership, a number of boys in the great "Troop 1" may not have obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. The Parker's will be sending prayers on behalf of entire Adams family in their time of great loss. Knowing Ed, he's happily riding heavens rails through the most beautiful mountains we could ever imagine, with a giant smile on his face. Until we all meet again sir,
Jeff Parker
