Jerry Ray Sommers Jr., 47,
of Poteau, OK passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020, in Poteau. Jerry was born October 22, 1972 in Ft. Smith,
AR to Jerry Sommers Sr. & Samantha ( Jernigan) Noseff .
He worked as an engineer for KCS Railroad. Jerry was preceded in death
by his grandparents; Jack & Hilda Sommers, Dewey & Billye Jernigan;
step father, Johnny Noseff; & brother, Mark Jackson.
Survivors include his
children, Jake, Jackson, & Jerra Sommers, of Poteau, OK; mother, Samantha
Noseff, of Poteau, OK; father and step mother, Jerry & Melinda Sommers, of
Hodgen, OK.; brothers, Danny Yandell
& wife Jennifer of Heavener, OK., &
Corey Yandell; Sister, Kimberly Davison, of Red Oak, OK; numerous
nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Monday, February 24, 2020 at Evans
Chapel of Memories in Poteau, OK with Rev. Phil McGehee and Rev. Jim Cook
officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau. The family will be at the funeral home
Sunday, February 23rd from 2-4pm to visit with family and friends.
