Our
Beloved Faye Wallis, 81, of Pocola, OK passed away on December 8, 2019. She was born March 20, 1938, in Ft. Smith, AR
to Grady & Mary Marie Richison. She
was a member of the Methodist Church in Pocola.
Faye worked 30 years for Plastic Specialties in Ft. Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband of
51 years, Buddy Wallis; grandsons, Dusty & Skylar Wallis, her parents;
paternal grandparents, Boss & Lillie Richison & maternal mother, Nora
Jones.
She is survived by her special
children 4 sons: Johnny Wallis of Uniontown, AR, Donny Wallis of Stilwell, OK,
Dennis & Brenda Wallis of Pocola, OK, Robin & Ruth Wallis of Spiro, OK;
daughter, Tena Wallis of Ft. Smith,
AR; special grandchildren, Kris Pickle
& Greg Wallis of Cameron, OK, Tommy & Buddy Ray Wallis, Tonya &
Carrie of Stilwell, OK, Misty Dye of Van Buren, AR, Julie Larson & Rodney
Wallis of Spiro, OK, Richard Wallis of Humble, TX, Regina Francis of Cameron,
OK, Laci Pope of TX, Karessa Pope of Fayetteville, AR; 42 great grandchildren
and 21 great great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Corley of Keota, OK;
brothers, Grady & Bessie Richison of Wichita, KS, ZW Richison, Monty
Richison and Rena Richison all of Pocola, OK; other relatives, loved ones and
friends.
Services will be 10 am Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Evans Memorial
Chapel, Pocola, OK with Jim Cook officiating.
Interment will be at Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK. The family will be at the funeral home on
Friday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff
of Compassionate Home Care of Spiro and Hospice Home Care of Stigler, OK; Betty
& Dan McCaslin, Randy Barton, Wendy Jackson; and all her family and
friends. A special thanks to her
daughter, Tena; daughter in law, Ruth (with Julie & Mathew); granddaughter,
Kris and others who took care of her during the final moments.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
made to the Pancreatic Cancer Center.

Just today heard about your loss. Faye and Buddy were exceptional folks with a host of long time friends and family. Over all the years we knew them they always had a smile. Prayers for your grief and hopes for lots of good memories.

I remember Faye as a kind, always smiling lady. She worked for my parents for many years and they appreciated her work ethic and loyalty. My mom considered her a friend.
