Dorothy G “Dottie” Tucker, 81, of Poteau, OK passed
away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 in Poteau.
She was born January 9, 1938 in Cameron, OK to James H. & Renetta
(Shipman) McBee. She was a member of the
Faith Community Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her
children, Robyn Tittle & husband Eddie, Noel Barnett & wife Laurie, Jerry
Barnett; 7 grandchildren, Nicholas Manasco, Lora Yadon, Jenny Smith, Taylor
Garrison, Aaron Barnett, Natalie Barnett, Traci Booze; 10 great grandchildren; stepson,
Danny Tucker; brothers, Lloyd & Jerry McBee; nieces and caregivers, Beth
Tucker & Lauren Durham; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Monday December 30, 2019 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Phil
McGehee officiating.

Mrs. Tucker was a nice caring lady. She and my grandma Ruth Johnson went to the Nazarene church years ago. I have a funny story to tell about Mrs. Dottie. I was looking for molasses in Wal-Mart and couldn't find it. During my second time in the isle with honey and jelly I seen Mrs. Dottie. So I asked her if she knew where the molasses was. She reached into her purse and took out her cell phone and did something that I would not have thought about doing, she called Wal-Mart and told them that she was a customer shopping in their store and needed to know where the molasses was and whoever answered the phone told her and we went and found it.
