Sandra Lorene Staggs,
61, of Spiro, OK passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019 in Ft. Smith, AR. Sandra was born June 25, 1957 in Selma, CA to
Hershel & Gladys (Proe) Martin. She
was a veteran of the US Navy. Her grandchildren were the center of her
world. She loved nothing more than
spending as much time with them as she could.
She loved cooking for her family & made THE BEST chocolate gravy. Outside of quality time with her loved ones
she loved beating Sharon in Scrabble & talking on the phone for hours with
Debbie.She was preceded in death by her mother Gladys Batey & husband,
Vernon Staggs.
Survivors include her daughter & son in law, Stefanie
Renee & Willie Yoast; son – Sean Staggs all of Spiro, OK; grandchildren, Shane
Yoast & Sophia Staggs; brothers, Steve Martin, Stoney Staggs & wife
Suzanne, Danny Staggs of Pocola, OK;
best friends & sisters, Debbie Rose & Sharon Reese of McAlester, OK;
other relatives, loved ones and friends.
No services are planned per her wishes. Graveside memorial is pending for immediate
family & close friends. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, McAlester next
to her soul-mate & husband, Vernon.

She will be missed by all, I will miss her advice she use to give me.she was a sis in spirit if not in blood.
As I read of the recent loss of your dearly loved Sandra, I wanted to express my sincerest condolences. During this most distressing time, I hope that you can find solace in the knowledge that Jehovah God is aware of your grief and can comfort and sustain you. (Isaiah 41:13) in similar times of grief, I have great comfort from the Bible promise of a ressurection, and an end to all death and sorrow (Acts 24:15 ;Rev 21:4). I hope this may be the case for you too.
