Frank LeRoy Jones, 75, of Poteau, OK passed away Sunday, April
15, 2018, in Poteau. Frank was born July
26, 1942 in Redding, CA. He grew up in
Santa Maria, CA, graduated from Santa Maria High School and joined the Army
101st Airborne in 1960. Most of his
working life was in the oil and gas industry, both domestic &
international. After retirement, he and his
wife of 56 years, Carolyn, located in Poteau, OK. He loved the small town atmosphere and
quickly made many special friends. Frank
was preceded in death by his parents, Roy S. & Rose (Hale) Jones.
He is survived by his wife,
Carolyn of the home; daughter, Cindy Enriquez of Santa Maria, CA;
grandchildren, Joseph Enriquez of Poteau, Jason Enriquez & wife Anna of
Tacoma, WA, Angela Navacchi & husband Daniel of Adelaide, South Australia;
great grandchildren, Grace & Matthew Navacchi also of Australia; brother,
Roy A. Jones & wife Vicki; sister,
Sandy Blankenburg & husband Kent of CA; other relatives, loved ones and
friends.
At Frank's request there
will be no service; but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I worked with Frank overseas. Frank had a huge impact on my life and was a great friend. He will be missed.
