Jerry has been a great friend to me, my family and to the Sallisaw area. He and my mom and dad were key figures to bring CASC to Sallisaw. Without these three giants, Sallisaw and Sequoyah County would not have a higher learning center. His legacy is strong and secure. Many kids received a better education and futures thanks to the great community work and his love of kids. Jerry Hetherington will be greatly missed and his memory cherished. We extend our greatest affection and prayers for his family. They can be very proud of him. Tom Stites
Very sweet man. He always had some kind of candy to give my daughter every time we came in the lumber yard.
To Jerry's Family,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Jerry was always a very polite gentleman to me. I too am thankful for the role he played in CASC coming to the city of Sallisaw.
Be assured in knowing that your family are in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless and keep you all in the palm of his hands.
So sorry for your loss.

Georgia: I just saw this. I haven't seen or talked to Jerry since our Freshman year in college, but I remember that I knew he was a special person, good, honest, straight forward and positive. Back then, I remember that he always wore a smile. We are sorry for your loss.
