Betty Lou Nobles, 72, of
Wister, OK passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 in Wister. Betty was born August 19, 1943 in Poteau, OK
to William Ted & Eithel Mae (McCarty) Smith. She was retired from the US Postal
Service. Betty was preceded in death by
her parents.
Survivors include her
husband, Jimmy of the home; son & daughter in law, Rodney & Jamie
Nobles of Wister, OK; 2 granddaughters, Macy
& Maddy; 2 sisters, Bimbo Skinner and husband, Joe of Poteau, OK,
Debbie Moore and husband, Carl of Wister, OK; brother, James Ted Smith and
wife, Anna of Poteau, OK; 4 nephews, Khris Smith & wife Charlotte, Creigh
Smith, Caleb Moore, Brandon Moore; 2 nieces, Heather Butler & husband
Chris, Allisha Wiseley; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Wister, OK with Rev.
Clyde Steelman and Rev. Khris Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery,
Poteau, OK. Pallbearers will be Khris
Smith, Creigh Smith, Caleb Moore, Brandon Moore, Kevin Adams & Jared Adams.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Wednesday from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
