Marilyn Sue Currens, 56, of
Poteau, OK passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 in Poteau. Susie was born October 27, 1959 in Poteau,
OK. She was preceded in death by her
parents, L.H. & Darkasha Smith & Harry Remy; sisters, Gail Holt &
Nan Pope ; brother, John Remy.
Survivors include her
husband, Wayne Currens of Poteau, OK; sons, Zac Halo & Kristopher Currens;
daughter, Myra Smith; grandsons, Rune Smith, Landen & Keian McBride;
stepsons, Tommy Saulter, Billy Saulter;
sisters, Beverly Tate, Lori Ann Smith; brothers, Sluggo, Terry, &
Greg & Penny Smith, Stan & Pat Remy; numerous nieces, nephews, other
relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Friday, January 22, 2016 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim
Cook & Jim Smith officiating.
Interment will be in Shady Point Cemetery, Shady Point, OK. Pallbearers will be Zac, Kristopher, Gregory Sr., Gregory Jr., Sluggo, Terry & Alex.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
