Charlie Floyd Irwin, 81, of
Shady Point, OK passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 in Fort Smith, AR. Charlie was born January 31, 1934 in Sulphur,
OK to Sherman Ivett & Hester Lorene (Barker) Irwin. He was a veteran of the US Marines &
retired from AT&SF Railroad as a conductor.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lorene
"Lani" Dunlap; brother, Billy Irwin and sister, Patricia.
Survivors include his wife,
Jacquelyn "Jackie" Irwin of the home; daughters, Cindy & Frank
Naranjo, Charlene Lewis, Ami Helm, Patty Starr; sons, Ralph & Betty Sartor,
Mike Sartor, Ernest & Si Sartor, Tim & Tammy Sartor, Jack & Cassie
Sartor; numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren; brother, Jim Irwin;
other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev.
Jim Cook officiating. Interment will
follow in Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
In lieu of flowers
contributions may be made for Gideon Bibles or your favorite charity.
