Mary Belle Scott
Cooper, 86, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 in Ft. Smith,
AR. Mary Belle was born April 16, 1926
in Hitchita, OK to James Albert &
Haley (Gabbard) Scott. She and her
husband owned and operated the Sears Roebuck store in Poteau. She was preceded in death by her parents;
brothers, Grady Scott & Dale Scott; sisters, Dovie Brown, Wilma Shipp, and
Helen Sychr.
Survivors include
her husband of 70 years, Bob W. of the home; daughters & son in law,
Barbara Jean & Jimmy McGee of Broken Arrow, OK, Ronda Kaye Cooper of
Dallas, TX; grandson, Michael Graham McGee & wife Agnes of Broken Arrow,
OK; great grandchildren, Cady & Rob Rowland of Inola, OK, Mia Rose McGee
and Michael McGee Jr. both of Broken Arrow, OK; great great granddaughter,
Lillian Skye Rowland of Inola, OK; sister, Lahoma Cook of Carlsbad, NM;
numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & loved ones; many beloved
friends.
Services will be 2
pm, Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Front Street
Church of Christ in
Poteau with Glenn Hamilton
officiating. Interment will follow in Vaughn Cemetery,
Gilmore, OK. Pallbearers will be Michael McGee, Jerry Draper, Bruce McClain, Dennis Harrison, Dennis Lungstrum &
Julian Scott. Honorary pallbearers will
be Bro. Ken Bentley, & Eddy Cooper.
