Billy Wayne Dolph, 71, of Wister, OK passed away Monday, November 15, 2010 in Poteau, OK. Billy was born July 22, 1939 in Poteau, OK to Milburn Cecil & Ola Lucille (Grigsby) Dolph. He worked at Whirlpool. Billy loved to hunt and fish. He loved his grandchildren & great grandchildren and watching OU football. He was preceded in death by his father; son, Ricky Dolph and sister, Betty Priest. Survivors include his wife, Louise of the home; sons, Billy Wayne Dolph II of the home, Tommy Ray Dolph of Wister, OK; grandchildren, Eric & Elysia Dolph of Wister, OK, Johnny & Tiffany Martin of Wister, OK, Warren Janeway of Red Oak, OK; great grandson, Hoyt Wayne Dolph of Wister, OK; mother Ola Lucille Dolph of Wister, OK; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends. Services will be held 2 pm, Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Bethel Baptist Church in Wister, OK with Rev. Clyde Steelman officiating. Interment will follow in Ellis chapel Cemetery, Wister, OK. Pallbearers will be Eric Dolph, Billy Dolph II, Tommy Dolph, Johnny Martin, Anthony Loomis, & Ronnie Loomis. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Meeks, Loton Slate, Willie Carshal, & Mark Williams. The family will be at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with friends & relatives.
