Gavin Dewayne Fifield, 11 weeks, of Carmi, IL passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009 in St. Louis, MO. Gavin was born in St. Louis on May 28, 2009 to Jeremy James Fifield and Amber June Evans. Gavin was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa, Vernon Dewayne "Rawhide" Evans.
Survivors include his mother and father; brothers, Dylan & Adam Fifield of Poteau, OK; maternal grandparents, Reba & Gary Patchell of Stillwater, OK, Betty Evans of Poteau, OK; paternal grandparents, Pete and Sandy LaFontaine of Poteau, OK; aunts and uncles, Kim & Joey Loggains of Poteau, OK, Steve Evans of Poteau, OK, David LaFontaine & Korteny Pond of Poteau, OK, Loren Patchell of Stillwater, OK; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Tuesady, August 18, 2009 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment in Oakland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Evans, David LaFontaine, Bill Flowers, Ben Arnold. The family will visit with friends and relatives on Monday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Gavin is our special Angel. He was only with us for a short time but he touched us all. Gavin will be missed but never forgotten. To my Son Jeremy and Amber....Mom loves you both and Im here whenever you need me.
