Harvey was born on May 21, 1942 in Boswell, Oklahoma to Estell (Clouse) Spangler and Therrell Spangler and passed away on May 20, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, son, Bryan Spangler; brother, Donald Spangler; sister, Joyce Westmorland; and the mother of his children, Frances Spangler. He retired from Whirlpool, in 2005,as an electrician after working there for 40 years. Harvey was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1960-1964.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia (Hunt) Spangler; son, Alan Spangler and wife Monica; daughter, Becky Horne and husband Justin; step-daughters, Tammy Winfrey and husband Daniel, Tina Johnson; grandchildren, Rachel Spangler, Brandon Spangler, Austin Harvey, Shelby Tuskey, Eric White, Aleigha Johnson; five great grandchildren; sister, Deborah Spangler, numerous other relatives and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Justin Horne, Brandon Spangler, Austin Harvey, Eric White, Zach Neal, and Derek Neal.
Viewing and Visitation Friday, May 27, 2022 from 12pm - 8pm with the family greeting friends from
6pm-8pm at the funeral home in Pocola, Oklahoma.
