Chester E. McCartney, 68, of Poteau, OK passed away Monday, July 19, 2021 in McAlester, OK. Chester was born July 4, 1953 in Poteau, OK to Arthur Chester “Bos” & Mattie (Roberts) McCartney. Chester was a lifelong resident of Poteau an avid fisherman and gardener. He enjoyed the outdoors with his family. Chester was preceded in death his parents; brothers, Theodore and Bill Cravines; sisters, Cleo Wilson & Yvonne Carpenter; daughter, Timalee Sue McCartney.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Annetta McCartney; sons, Levi McCartney, Kevin McCartney and Chris Clark; daughter, Mandalyn Clark; sister, Donna Moore; brother, John E. Moore; grandchildren, Tessa Adams, Owen McCartney, Avery McCartney, Jackson Clark; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Both surprised and saddened to about Chester passing away. He was a very good plumber.
