Jerry Don “Donnie” Amos, 66, of
Poteau, OK passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 in Poteau. Jerry was born October 10, 1953 in Spiro, OK
to Willie & Mary (Huggins) Amos. He
worked as a mechanic, glass blower, logger among other trades. He is preceded in death by his parents, his
wife and sister, Faye.
Survivors include his daughters Rhonda & husband Greg of
Fanshawe, OK, Kathern Marshall of Poteau & her husband Nathan of Cameron,
OK; son, Gerald Amos of Poteau, OK; granddaughters, Tessa, Savannah &
Shawnee; grandsons, Dale, Noah, Thomas and a very special little guy, Blaze,
who he called his grandson; great grandbabies, Karmen, Benjamin, Allison &
Enrique; brothers, Gary of Dyer, AR, Ed, Bud, Ricky & Jimmy of Poteau;
sister, Mary & husband Bobby, Ruby, Sue, Sharon & husband Charles;
numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Memorial services will be at Evans

He was a great mechanic. He fixed more than one of my problems. He was always so sweet. We will miss you.
Sure miss you dad. I'm so list without you and mom. I. Want to call you see if you want to go on a road trip. But then I realize I have to go myself
