Jimmie Maxine Morris, 74, of Wister, OK passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR. Jimmie was born April 25, 1937 in Holson Valley, OK to Buck & Junie (Gammons) Howerton. She was a homemaker. Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, Bill Morris; sister, Pauline Williams.
Survivors include her husband, Henry “Herbert” Morris of the home; 2 grandchildren, Stephanie & husband Nathan Haynes of Spiro, OK, Derek Morris of Poteau, OK; sister, Juanita Cox of Spiro, OK, 2 brothers, Bud Howerton of Spiro, OK, Sonny Howerton of Lawson, MO; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 10 am, Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Summerfield Church of Christ with Tracy Lloyd officiating. Interment will follow in Summerfield Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
