Earl C. Seaton, 88, of Spiro, OK passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012 in Spiro. Earl was born October 7, 1923 in Lavaca, AR to O.H. & Elvia (Wise) Seaton. He was a veteran of the US Army. Earl was a mechanic, working at Turman-Pierce for years. He was a farmer & rancher. Earl was a wonderful father & grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Betty of the home; daughters & son in law, Sharan & Michael Greer of Wister, OK, Debbie Seaton of Panama, OK; sons & daughters in law, Larry & Jackie Seaton of Glenrose, TX, Keith & Imogene Seaton of Howe, OK; 6 grandchildren and ‘almost’ 14 great grandchildren; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers will be Chris Greer, Kevin Seaton, Mark Pearson, Brian Seaton, Keith Mings, Chris Lindenau. Honorary pallbearers will be Trace Brooks, Michelle Mings, Dana Pearson.

Floyd Russell Clinton, 65, of Rock Island, OK passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR. Floyd was born April 3, 1947 in Stilwell, OK to Charlie Sherman & Mary Lou (Green) Clinton. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a mechanic. Floyd was preceded in death by his father; mother, Mary Irwin; and grandson, Greyson Hunt.
Survivors include his daughters, Kim Allen, Kelly Hunt, Ellisa Hollinger, Angela Clinton all of Poteau, OK, Crystal Decker of Van Buren, AR, Shawna Lamb of Alma, AR; several grandchildren; brother, Willie Clinton of Hodgen, OK; sisters, Leta Sharp of Midland, AR, Leona Stiger of Panama, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, May 1, 2012 graveside at Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wister, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow.
The family will be at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Dorthy A. Williams
Dorthy Ann Williams, 84, of Pocola, OK passed peacefully at home with her family on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 in Pocola. Dorthy was born March 15, 1928 in Ft. Smith, AR to Albert Lee & Elva (Howard) Beshears. She worked in Civil Service for 24 years and retired from the FAA Center in Oklahoma City after serving for 19 years. Dorthy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donnie Beshears; son in law, Don DeSelms; grandson in law, Stephen Medley. Her love for her family and her faith is a legacy that her children and grandchildren cherish and value.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Edgar of the home; 2 daughters & son in law, Sherry & Randy Gunter of Ft. Lenora A. Morsund, 78, of Poteau, OK passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in Heavener, OK. Lenora was born August 20, 1933 in Cameron, OK to J.H. & Gussie (Sharp) Higginbotham. She was a homemaker. Lenora was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, John Morsund. She worked in the craft/fabric department at Walmart for over 20 years. She loved her family very much and her church family. She loved to read her Bible, finding strength from the scriptures. She loved nature and seeing the flowers bloom.

Harriet Fallon Kearns Coleman
Harriet Fallon Kearns Coleman, 95, of Summerfield, OK passed away Friday, October 21, 2011 in Grand Rapids, MI. Harriet was born February 11, 1916 in Francis, OK to James Hiram & Bessie Idell (Fallon) Kearns; the youngest of her sisters, Nellie Idell, Grace Elizabeth, & Ruth Eleanor, all deceased. Harriet graduated from East Central State University in Ada, OK in 1937, then from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK in 1939.
She taught school in Ada for four years, LeFlore, OK for eleven years & Talihina, OK for 15 years. She was married for 37 years to Hershal Augusta Coleman, who died in 1984. Harriet volunteered at 9 years old as a babysitter. As an adult, she volunteered as a Future Homemakers of America Leader, at Talimena Drive Information Center, Poteau Hospital Auxiliary, Kerr Center, Carl Albert Community College, and LeFlore Elementary School. She was a member of the Campfire Girls of America as a child. She was a member of Busy Bees Quilting Club for 30 years, Tri-Sigma Sorority for 70 years, and the Methodist Church for all of her life. Harriet tickled family members and innumerable friends with her spunk, wit, generosity, and enthralling stories.
She is survived by her sons, Charles of Norman, OK, Richard (Cindy) of Grand Rapids, MI; niece, Ellen Lee of Tulsa, OK and grandchildren, Iris and Adam of Grand Rapids, MI.
