Earl was a mechanic, working at Turman-Pierce for years. He was a farmer & rancher. Earl was a wonderful father & grandfather. Floyd Russell Clinton, 65, of Rock Island, OK passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR. Floyd was born April 3, 1947 in Stilwell, OK to Charlie Sherman & Mary Lou (Green) Clinton. Dorthy Ann Williams, 84, of Pocola, OK passed peacefully at home with her family on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 in Pocola. Dorthy was born March 15, 1928 in Ft. Smith, AR to Albert Lee & Elva (Howard) Beshears. She worked in Civil Service for 24 years and retired from the FAA Center in Oklahoma City after serving for 19 years. Her love for her family and her faith is a legacy that her children and grandchildren cherish and value. Beatrice Morgan "Bea" Loughridge

Beatrice Morgan Loughridge, 89, of Oklahoma City, OK (formerly of Wister, OK) went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 19th, 2012 at Mercy Hospital. Bea was born on December 2nd, 1922 to John Dennis and Nora Bell Morgan. Bea was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Poteau, OK where she had lived with her husband for 28 years. Bea was a retired elementary school teacher and librarian. She enjoyed playing the piano, particularly for church services, as well as gardening, sewing, and cooking. As the wife of a Nazarene pastor, she loved working in the church, visiting church members and friends, and helping those in need. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill Loughridge, and sister, Lucille Branscum. Bea is survived by her sister, Sue Grooms; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Larry and Midge Loughridge and Steve and Vickie Loughridge; four grandchildren, Ryan, Robyn, Brannon, and Lauren; three great-grandchildren, Emily, Brody, and Bryce; and numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends and church family. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 24th, 2012 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Poteau, Ok at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Wayne and Eddie Stark will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Ellis Chapel Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, OK. Harriet Fallon Kearns Coleman, 95, of Summerfield, OK passed away Friday, October 21, 2011 in Grand Rapids, MI. Harriet was born February 11, 1916 in Francis, OK to James Hiram & Bessie Idell (Fallon) Kearns; the youngest of her sisters, Nellie Idell, Grace Elizabeth, & Ruth Eleanor, all deceased. Harriet graduated from East Central State University in Ada, OK in 1937, then from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK in 1939. She taught school in Ada for four years, LeFlore, OK for eleven years & Talihina, OK for 15 years. She was married for 37 years to Hershal Augusta Coleman, who died in 1984. Harriet volunteered at 9 years old as a babysitter. As an adult, she volunteered as a Future Homemakers of America Leader, at Talimena Drive Information Center, Poteau Hospital Auxiliary, Kerr Center, Carl Albert Community College, and LeFlore Elementary School. She was a member of the Campfire Girls of America as a child. She was a member of Busy Bees Quilting Club for 30 years, Tri-Sigma Sorority for 70 years, and the Methodist Church for all of her life. Harriet tickled family members and innumerable friends with her spunk, wit, generosity, and enthralling stories. She is survived by her sons, Charles of Norman, OK, Richard (Cindy) of Grand Rapids, MI; niece, Ellen Lee of Tulsa, OK and grandchildren, Iris and Adam of Grand Rapids, MI. Survivors include his wife, Grace of the home; sisters, Audria Roe & Betty Newby of Wister, OK; brothers & sisters in law, twin-Landsey Fay Chronister, Eldred & Mary Chronister of Poteau, OK, Bobby Chronister of Canute, OK, Linston & Jeanie Chronister of Wister, OK, Buford & Shirley Chronister of Houston, TX, Jerry & Coline Perry of Lubbock, TX; 3 stepdaughters, Gena & Randy Drake of Santa Maria, CA, Susie & John Nurick of Yukon, OK, Donna & George Gage III of Wister, OK; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandson; 16 nieces & nephews; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends. Services will be 10 am, Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Bethel Baptist Church in Wister, OK with Rev. Clyde Steelman and Rev. Kelly Chronister officiating. Interment will follow in San Bois Cemetery in Kinta, OK. Pallbearers will be Mark Chronister, Jeffrey Chronister, Timmy Chronister, George Gage III, Jonathan Gage, Stephen Nurick.
