"Nina" Ik Cha Kirkland

Ik Cha “Nina” Kirkland, 77, of Calhoun, OK passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 in Heavener, OK. Nina was born November 24, 1934 in Pusan, Korea to Mr. Han Kun Pak and Ms. Hong Chu Yi, both of South Korea. Nina lived the past 40 plus years in Calhoun. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eben L. , and a son, Patrick. She is survived by 3 sons, Mike and wife Bobbie of Bartlesville, OK, Ed and wife, Crystal of Wister, OK, Lindsey of Bartlesville, OK; daughter, Sandy Golden and husband, Josh of Bartlesville, Ok. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brandon, Corby, Logan, Zachary, Connor, Sawyer, and great granddaughter, Braylie; special friends, Patty Blaylock and Teagan Tony; many other beloved family and friends. Private family graveside services will be held 2 pm, Friday, April 13, 2012 at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, OK with Pastor Elmer Bowden officiating. There will be an after service gathering for family and friends at 4 pm at Kirkland’s Calhoun home. .

Nina was a wonderful, caring person. It was my privilage to know her. She was a great step-grandmother to my children. She will always have a special place in our hearts.
