Jesse Lee Nelke Sr., 74, of
Pocola, OK passed away Saturday,
February 10, 2018, in Ft. Smith, AR.
Jesse was born July 21, 1943in Ft. Smith to William Leo Sr. & Emma
Elizabeth ( Knight) Nelke. He was a
carpenter. Jesse was preceded in death
by his parents; brother, Billy Paul; and two grandchildren, Blake & Brook.
Survivors include his wife,
Sandra of the home; daughters, Tammy Robertson of Casa Grande, AZ, Misti Fisher
of Boiling Springs, SC; sons, Jesse "Buzz" Nelke Jr. of Muldrow, OK,
Brian Nelke of Barling, AR, Chris Nelke of Boiling Springs, SC; stepdaughters,
Karen Cox and Glenda Wallace of Ft.
Smith, AR; stepson, Bud Lomon of Pocola, OK; 17 grandchildren; 12 great
grandchildren; sister, Loretta Avery of Rock Island, OK; brother, William Leo
Nelke Jr. of Pocola, OK uncle, Dee Nelke ; other relatives, loved ones and
friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Evans Memorial Chapel, Pocola, OK with Preston
Smith officiating. Interment will follow
at Macedonia Cemetery, Pocola.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Wallace, Bud Lomon, Johnny Beam, Lowell Cox,
Randall Shlutz, & Scott Nelke.
The family will be at the
funeral home in Pocola on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives
and friends.

I wanted to express my condolences on your recent loss. I have found comfort in the Bible promise of a future ressurection (Acts 24:15) Death, and all it's accompaniments will be done away with (1 Corinthians 15:26; Revelation 21:4). I hope that this hope can bring you solace during this difficult time (Psalm 119:76)
