Billy
Earl Hudgins, 84, of Howe, OK passed away Thursday, February 12,
2015. Billy was born January 7, 1931 in Ft.
Smith, AR to Earl
& May (Allread) Hudgins. Throughout
his life he worked as a prison guard for the State of Virginia,
electrician; and towards the end of his life he worked as a gentlemans
rancher. He was a veteran of the US
Army where he received the Bronze Star, Purple Heart w/cluster, good conduct
medal, National Defense service medal, Korean service medal, combat infantryman
badge, United Nations service medal, Silver Star; the Presidential Unit
Citation. He was preceded in death by
his parents; wife, Glenna Hudgins and brother, Harvey Hudgins.
Survivors
include his children, William Earl & Joalyce Hudgins of Howe, OK, Lavana
Lee & Al Bennett of Jonesboro, TN, Harvey Ray & Georgia Hudgins of
Rural Retreat, VA; brother, Bobby Joe Hudgins of Las Vegas, NV; 7
grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; several
nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, loved ones & friends.
Services
will be 10 am, Monday, February 16, 2015 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.
Interment will follow in Petillo
Hills Cemetery,
Centerville, AR.
