Worth Alee “Lee” Bowden,
48, of Shady Point, OK
passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014 in Marion,
IN. Lee was born January 13, 1966 in Poteau, OK
to Elmer D. & Latricia A. (Blaylock) Bowden. He was a veteran of the US Navy &
National Guard. Lee was a truck
driver.
Survivors include his son,
Krag Bowden of the home; his parents; sister, Malita A. Voyles of Sallisaw, OK;
stepdaughter, Melissa Gilliam of Kansas City, KS; special friends, Lana Lester
of Panama, OK; 2 nephews & wives, Troy & Cassandra Moody, Christopher
& Megan Moody, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 10 am,
Friday, October 17, 2014 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Fairhill/Knothole
Cemetery, Cameron, OK.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Bell, Earl Hearon, James Atchison, Wes
Weaver, Jimmy Cargill, Ronnie Turner, & Randy Lum.
There will be a reception after the service at the Shady Point
Civic Center.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with family and
friends.
