George Lemuel “Poppa”
McNully, 82, of Shady Point, OK
passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014 in Fort
Smith, AR. Lemuel was born February 22, 1932 in Horatio, AR to Roy
“Sammy” & Lucy V. (Moore)
McNully. He was a veteran of the US Army
where he served in Korea. Lemuel was an ordained minister. He taught school, was a welder and also
worked construction. Poppa was known by
his smile – he “LOVED PEOPLE” - and they
‘loved him’. He was preceded in death by
his granddaughter, Leah (Goodwin) Graves and 7
siblings.
Survivors include by his
wife of 60 years, Patricia Sue McNully of the home; 3 sons & daughter in law,
Roy McNully of New Mexico, Richard & Laurie McNully of Vancouver, WA, Raylon McNully of DeQueen,
AR; daughter & son in law, Rhonda & Boyd Goodwin of Shady Point, OK; 6
grandchildren; 3 great grandsons; 5 siblings, Lillie, Lyda, Lester, James &
David; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and many beloved
friends.
Family visitation – 2-3 pm
– Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Bethel Lighthouse Church, Panama, OK with
Memorial Service at 3 pm.

I am sorry for your loss.
Mr. McNully was one of my most teachers in school.
