Aaron Daniel “Danie” Byous,
Jr., 67 of Poteau, OK passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 in Fort Smith,
AR. Danie was born January 7, 1947 in Modesto, CA
to Aaron Daniel Sr. & Betty (Mitchell) Byous. He was a lineman and service man for
OG&E for 35 years. Danie was a veteran of the US
Army. He was preceded in death by his
father; father in law, Harry Tustin; stepfather, Ben Gedosh.
Survivors include his wife,
Susie of the home; daughters, Misty & Jerry Collins, Lacey & Justin
Downs of Poteau, OK; 5 grandchildren, Dani & Dax Collins, Champ, Wrigley
& Rooklyn Downs; mother, Betty Gedosh; mother in law, Tess Tustin both of
Poteau, OK; stepbrother, Dr. Jack &
JoAnn Gedosh of Ft. Smith, AR; brothers in law, Harry & Robbie Tustin Jr.,
Larry & Sandy Tustin; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones
and friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Friday, September 26, 2014 at Cross Community
Church, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Barry Hayes officiating.
Interment will follow in Oakland
Cemetery, Poteau, OK. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Satterfield, Kenny
Sparks, Houston Lambert, Mike Ford, David Wann and Ricky Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be David Kerns
& Ronnie Cooper.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Thursday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.

God received an angel. Danie was a person that would help you with anything he could. We will miss you so much. God give the family the strength to get through the heart ache and remember the good times. We love you Danie!
