Willis “Chuck”
Armstrong, 82, of Muskogee, OK (formerly of Spiro) passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014 in Tulsa, OK. Chuck was born December 19, 1931 in Poteau,
OK to Sylvester & Evie (Phillips) Armstrong. He drove a dairy truck. He was a member of the First Assembly of God
Church in Shady Point, OK. Chuck was preceded in death by his
parents and brothers, Ira & Harlen Armstrong.
Survivors
include his wife, Mary of the home; 5 daughters & sons in law, Carolyn
Young of Van Buren, AR, Pam & Ron Clark of Claremore, OK, Sue & Jerry
Garner of Oktaha, OK, Sharon Thomas of Muskogee, OK, Deborah & John Coleman
of Broken Arrow, OK; 14 grandchildren; numerous great and great great
grandchildren; sister, Joyce Thompson of Poteau, OK; brother, Buford Armstrong
of Pocola, OK; nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Services will
be 2 pm, Monday, March 31, 2014 at the First Assembly of God Church in Shady Point, OK
with Rev. Joe Owen officiating.
Interment will follow in Oakland
Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers will be Heath, Ryan & Randy
Clark, Brian “Cotton” Scamardo, Charles Scoggins & John Coleman. Honorary pallbearer will be Reggie Clark.
The family
will be at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 3-5 pm to visit with
relatives & friends.
